The Following is A Letter from J.B. Whitfield, Senior Pastor, AGAPE FAITH CHURCH in Clemmons, NC.  Pastor of Tim and Gwen Sutton.

Dear Pastor,

Greetings in the name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.  May His grace and peace be ever abounding in your life, home, and ministry.

I am writing on behalf of Evangelist Tim Sutton, who has been part of our ministry for over 21 years.  The first words that come to mind regarding Tim are integrity and submission, to his Pastor and church, as well as submission to God.  Tim is a true evangelist, meaning signs, wonders, salvations, miracles, and healings follow his ministry.  I recommend him as an evangelist to anyone.

The second reason I am writing is to say that Tim established and Evangelist Outreach Ministry at our church that includes the following teams:

  1. Weekend street evangelism teams
  2. Weekday street evangelism teams
  3. Door to Door visitation
  4. Follow-up (Phone, Letters, and Visitation)
  5. Letter Writing
  6. Nursing Homes
  7. Touching the Sick
  8. Friday Night  Lifestyle evangelism teams (touching the homeless)
  9. Saturday Afternoon Lifestyle evangelism teams
  10. Prayer ministry evangelism teams

Because of Tim's direct involvement, our Evangelism Ministry has gone to another level.  Tim established a School of Evangelism that, along with his leadership, has caused our congregation to fully see the importance of the Great Commission.  I would recommend every church have someone establish a training and mentoring program, as well as hands-on, experience-led, evangelism such as Tim Sutton's.

Once again, I recommend Tim's ministry in establishing evangelistic leaders in your church.  If you have any questions at all please feel free to call me.
